Ultimately I'm trying to find a reason to keep her around because she seems like she'll be interesting :D Tristian would disagree but his god is soft lol. Since taking responsibility for those potential evil deeds is an actual part of Iomedae's code, I imagine situations like these would usually end with an execution, rather than chancing those future evil deeds. It's definitely not a 'just' move, and it's also wishy-washy and seems more like the LN solution, AND if you believe she has done or will do awful sacrifice-y things enough to banish her, then ultimately you're simply making it someone else's problem, which is pretty lame, and are responsible for whatever evil deeds she does in the future. Otherwise you're rendering judgement like "Ok you're not the one we're looking for but you worship an evil sacrifice-y god so we assume you have done or will do awful sacrifice-y things so we're punishing you anyway, just in case". Ok that might not be the best analogy :) Point is, if she's not the culprit then unless you're going to try and strong-arm which gods everyone in your kingdom worships - which seems pretty futile in a world with so many literal gods being active participants in people's lives - then, lawfully, you have to let her go. The hammer doesn't care if you're mostly worthy or a completely unworthy scumbag, if you're not worthy, you don't wield it, and if you are, you wield the entirety of the Thor power-bundle. The banish option seems fine at first glance, but if she's not the one responsible for the monster-plague then essentially you're going down the path of religious intolerance, or is that putting too modern of a spin on things? I see it like wielding Thor's hammer- you're either worthy or you're not. But at the same time, evil is a real thing and I read up on Lamashtu, it's pretty heinous. Playing a paladin of Iomedae and trying to keep an open mind because I really doubt a paladin as they are often presented (rigid, 'lawful-stupid' etc) would successfully tame, grow, and rule any kingdom (at least not for long), much less one where the people have a manifesto like the 'River Freedoms'. The brief flavor text and how the character is presented is intriguing, makes me wonder what her story is, but unfortunately the dialog choices don't reveal much before you have to make a decision on what to do with her.
